Dr. Tanveen A. Rasheed is a highly experienced GIS professional with over 21 years of expertise in urban planning, GIS-based data systems, and strategic development. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban Geography from the University of Karachi and has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, Dr. Rasheed has led projects focusing on GIS and urban development, including the master planning of cities, integration of data systems, and development of GIS databases for urban management. Her career spans diverse roles such as Deputy Director for the Government of Sindh’s Urban Planning and Deputy General Manager at K-Electric, where she spearheaded the creation of a GIS-based network information management system. She has also held consultant roles and contributed to significant projects in fields such as education, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability. Dr. Rasheed is dedicated to advancing academic standards at Dynamic Research Institute, blending her vast experience with a passion for innovation in education. Her work is instrumental in aligning the institute’s academic offerings with cutting-edge industry practices, ensuring students are prepared to meet contemporary challenges.
