ORIC Documentary – Visualizing the Research Ecosystem

The ORIC Documentary is a flagship visual project by the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Dynamic Research Institute (DRI). This documentary aims to highlight the purpose, structure, and strategic role of ORICs across Pakistani universities, bringing clarity to their mandate and impact.

Through expert interviews, institutional visits, real-time insights, & success case representations, the documentary seeks to:

Educate stakeholders on the functions and significance of ORICs.

Showcase the alignment of ORICs with HEC’s strategic vision.

Inspire emerging institutions to establish and strengthen their ORICs.

Promote a research and innovation culture across academia, industry, and society.

The production is currently under development and includes collaboration with top university leaders, researchers, policymakers, and innovation experts.

Stay connected as we prepare to release this documentary—a powerful storytelling effort to redefine how we perceive research leadership and knowledge economy in Pakistan.
